Thanks James the opportunity to keep the love going! We’ve been married 36 years come November, so we are old school love songs, and we have a few, but ‘ our song’ is Still the One by Orleans…..Dan had proposed and I said I wasn’t sure I really loved him like that. I was heading to see an old boyfriend over Christmas Break, but when I got there, all I wanted was Dan…so the words really fit. And we have been blessed to have each other through all our tragedies and hardness ( we lost 4 of our 5 children, had a profoundly retarded child for 25 years and I almost died twice).
Our other fun songs are So Into You by Atlanta Rhythm Section because we went to school in Atlanta. And Sweet Life by Paul Davis…….as we have grown older, we love Stand by Rascal Flatts and When the Night is Falling by Dennis Jernigan.
Many blessings to you and Joanna….may you love eternally.. ❤

Wow–you obviously have a great deal of strength and love flowing in your marriage to have survived what you have, let alone thrived. You obviously have blessed each other greatly. Thank you for your nice comments, and for sharing your story.
